The mission of Johnsburg Central School is to ensure that all students are given the opportunity to learn in a positive school environment designed to promote academic excellence and to meet individual needs. Tonight's Johnsburg Central School Board of Education meeting will not include an update on our merger process. We are waiting for the New York State Education Department to approve the final draft of the Feasibility Study. Once we have the next information dates, we will share them with you on Facebook and our website.  

The next meeting will be set up after the State has approved the Feasibility Study.  This meeting will be with both Boards of Education and the public.  The final study will be presented to the Boards where they will have the opportunity to ask questions.   Unlike the feasibility committee meetings, the public will have the opportunity to ask clarifying questions at the end of the meeting.  Then both Boards of Education will meet within their communities to allow community members time to state their opinions on the merger.  This information will be considered when the Board votes on the same night on whether or not to advance it to a Straw vote within our communities.

The NFHS Network is a streaming service that will be used to broadcast all of our home basketball games during the Basketball season. All of the schools in our area have the same cameras that broadcast these games, so once you pay for the subscription to NFHS, you will have access to any game that is being played in a gym that has these cameras.
